 "text": "For the best integration on Android you want a sync app that talks to the native contact and calendar databases, so every other app simply sees your contacts and appointments. I use CardDAV-Sync and CalDAV-Sync for that.\nOn Apple platforms it is easier: macOS, iOS and iPadOS accept a CardDAV or CalDAV account directly in the account settings. Windows 10 has support built in but will only configure iCloud unless you resort to funky hacks; with Outlook the open source CalDav Synchronizer plugin does the job. On Linux with GNOME the desktop can connect natively as well.",
