 "text": "In nachtkastke ûntwerpe\nIk woe fan de beam wat meitsje dat ik faak brûke soe. It waard in nachtkastke, in lyts tafeltsje neist myn bêd. Om it nijsgjirrich te meitsjen stelde ik in pear ûntwerpdoelen:\n- brûk de hiele plank hout\n- brûk gjin skroeven of metaal foar de konstruksje\n- de \"beam\" moat yn it einresultaat sichtber wêze\n- sa'n 50 sintimeter heech\nFoardat ik wat die, mat ik de plank hout op. Mei de maten wurke ik in ûntwerp út dat de rûne foarm fan de plank brûkte om de goede hichte te berikken.\nDe plank hie in grutte skuor dêr't ik omhinne wurkje moast. Yn prinsipe snijt it ûntwerp de plank yn fjouwer stikken (krekt lâns de skuor). De stikken wurde oan inoar lymje om in \"opfâlden plank-ûntwerp\" te meitsjen. As it goed die, wie it idee, hie ik gjin metalen ûnderdielen nedich om de konstruksje te stypjen...\nDe plank glêd meitsje\nMyn broer brûkte in keatlingseage om my dizze plank fan de kastanjebeam te jaan. De keatlingseage liet in soad sporen op it hout efter dy't ik glêd meitsje moast.\nIk brûkte in Bosch Multitool om te seagjen en it oerflak te skuorjen. Nei in pear oeren wurk wiene beide kanten fan it hout glêd genôch om de plank yn de stikken te seagjen dy't it ûntwerp oanjoech.\nOan inoar lymje\nNei it ûntwerp woe ik de stikken ferbine sûnder sichtbere middels, gjin skroeven of metalen dielen.\nIk boarre gatten en brûkte houten pinnen om genôch sterkte te krije (yn kombinaasje mei lym).\nNei it lymjen fan de twa hoekige stikken liet ik se de middei yn de sinne droegje.\nTrochsichtige lak\nAs natuerprodukt hat hout in nijsgjirrige tekstuer troch syn nerven. Yn dizze beam koest de \"jierringen\" yn it hout sjen. Troch de feroaring fan de seizoenen en it waar ferskilt de snelheid wêrmei't it hout groeit fan tiid ta tiid. Ik woe dizze libbenslinen behâlde en keas in trochsichtige lak.\nHieltyd wer\nNei it oanbringen fan de lak skuorde ik it oerflak hieltyd wer. Elke kear brûkte ik fyner skuorpapier, ik begûn mei 60 en gie oant 400.\nResultaat\nFolle oeren letter is it resultaat in nachtkastke mei in tige glêd oerflak yn in orizjineel ûntwerp.\nIk haw trije wieltsjes monteard om it maklik te ferpleatsen (en wat ekstra hichte). Ik keas foar trije om te foarkommen dat it kastke wankelet. Ik brûkte metalen ringen om de hoeken fyn ôf te stellen (om't de houten plank net perfekt plat is).\nIt wie in nijsgjirrige ûnderfining om in bytsje \"doch it sels\"-houtûntwerp te dwaan. Nim gewoan de tiid en haast dy net. Ik haw in soad wille hân en kin it elkenien oanrekommandearje. Ik hie sa'n wille dat ik it wierskynlik wer dwaan sil!",
