Probably, and your analytics will not tell you. GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and their friends fetch your HTML and read it, but they do not run the JavaScript that Google Analytics depends on, so they never appear there. The web server sees everything. In July one of my sites served 114,883 pageviews of which 2,187 were humans; Analytics would have shown the 2,187 and called it a quiet month. That is why my own statistics read the server logs and name the agents: on a restaurant site, in the first days of July, ChatGPT had read 75 pages and Claude 51, next to 185 human pageviews.
