Summary
I fitted the Supernova E3 Pro 2 to my bike in 2019 and the brightness is amazing: 205 lumen from a 6V AC dynamo. It is expensive, but for daily commuting the build quality justifies the price.

The E3 Pro 2 is the top dynamo light from Supernova, a German maker focused on longevity, performance and environmental impact. Specifications: 205 lumen Power LED, 6 volt AC dynamo input, 5 minute stand light, 69 x 40 x 40 mm, 6061 aluminium, 110 grams without bracket, available in 8 colours, with 5 years of warranty. It carries the German VSF all-ride seal of quality. I ordered the version with two plain long cables and soldered the connections on my bike, eliminating vulnerable micro connectors. The only plug I kept is at the Shimano hub dynamo, so I can still remove the front wheel for punctures. I used the old internal cable as a pulling cable to route the new one through the frame, and put shrink wrap on joints exposed to dirt. Because of the price, I also ordered anti-theft bolts.
