The Electrified S has a 418WH battery integrated in the frame and a 250W front wheel hub motor, and charges from 0 to 100% in 6 hours. VanMoof rated the range at 60KM at full power and about 120KM in economy mode. During my 240KM test week I ran empty once, after 55KM in heavy wind. That was no drama: the lights and the lock kept working and I rode home on muscle power at a comfortable 22KM/H. The SRAM Automatix two speed hub shifts up automatically around 18KM/H though, which makes riding without electric support heavy. A useful trick: ride in economy mode for range and use the booster button for bridges and traffic lights. The battery was rated for about 1000 charge cycles, with replacements around 600 euro; the bike cost 2998 euro at the time.
